As an entirely new course, Tallis Lab is openly experimental. You can take a look at the draft scheme of work for the first unit of work by clicking on the image to the left. In summary, the first term will focus on

• giving students the framework and the vocabulary to become better at thinking about their own learning
• giving students the opportunity to think about what skills are important to them and how they can best acquire them
• exploring students sense of their identity and culture and how their world, their interests and their questions can be the starting point for the work we do in Tallis Lab
  
• working with new media, new technologies and web 2.0 resources to build a personalised Eportfolio and microblog
